The high-carbon chromium bearing steel is a high-carbon alloy steel with 1.40~1.65% chromium. It is characterized by a more uniform and stable structure after heat treatment, high hardness, high uniformity, good wear resistance, high contact fatigue strength, and good dimensional stability and corrosion resistance after annealing, its cutting performance is good and the price is relatively cheap. This steel can meet bearing requirements under normal working conditions.

Hardness

Our modern heat treatment equipment has a controlled atmosphere and temperature, which allows us to maintain the Rockwell hardness within the standard range during any production process and reach any specific hardness specified by the customer. The hardness of E52100 chrome steel balls is between HRC 60 and 67 according to requirements. The chromium steel balls are uniformly quenched and tempered across the entire diameter to achieve maximum strength and quality. The hardness of the ball measured on a parallel plane is controlled within the range of 60-66 HRC. Custom heat treatment can be used for special hardness and dimensional stability requirements.

High Quality Graded Hardened Chrome Steel Ball bearings made from Chromium GCr15 steel. Hardened to 60-67 Rockwell Scale equivalent to 700-900 HV (Vickers Scale) and are hardened all the way through the ball. These are the same hardened steel balls used to manufacture bearing assemblies and have a high duty and life cycle.
