Introduction

AISI type 430 stainless steel ball provide fair to-good corrosion resistance. They are resistant to corrosion by fresh water, steam, food environments, dairy products, nitric acid, and many petroleum products and organic materials. Applications include balls in cosmetic blenders (such as nail polish and eyeliner), dispenser pump balls and valve balls.

AISI type 420 stainless steel ball has good corrosion resistance and good material strength. They can resist the corrosion of alcohol, ammonia, food environment, fresh water, many petroleum products and organic materials, and some weakly acidic environments. They are found in bearings, valves, lighters and writing instruments.

AISI  type 440C stainless steel ball has the greatest material strength and good corrosion resistance.
