Application field
Gcr15 bearing steel balls are widely used in high-speed and low-noise bearings, bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, slide rails, general-purpose balls, luggage, and electronic industries, and can also be used to grind other media.
Feature
Magnetic, ferritic steel, oil packaging, the hardness can reach HRC60-66, the material has good wear resistance, the precision can reach 1/10 mm after cold processing into steel balls, and the surface is mirror-like. The color is chrome, but it cannot be welded. Extremely strong corrosion resistance, not easy to slide, high hardness, strong wear resistance, low roughness, and will not wear the ball seat.
The overall performance is good, the hardness is high and uniform after quenching and tempering, the wear resistance and contact fatigue strength are high, the hot workability is good, it contains more alloying elements, and the price is relatively cheap.

How to choose steel balls
1. If you want high hardness and wear resistance, then choose bearing steel balls, followed by carbon steel balls with fire.
2. If you want to weld and have low hardness, you need carbon steel balls without fire, commonly known as iron balls.
3. If you want a good anti-rust effect, you need stainless steel balls, 304, 316, 316L, and the anti-rust effect will be enhanced in turn.
4. If you want good anti-rust effect and high hardness, then you need 440 stainless steel ball.
5. If you want high accuracy, you must choose something else, the smaller the number, the higher the level, and the better the accuracy.
