On the basis of GCr15 steel, the content of Si and Mn is appropriately increased to improve its hardenability and elastic limit, and its wear resistance is also better than that of GCr15. The applicable size range for manufacturing rolling elements is larger than that of GCr15. It is mainly used to manufacture bearing rings with wall thickness> 12mm and outer diameter> 280mm. Ball diameter> 50mm; cone, cylindrical and spherical roller diameter> 22mm and needle rollers of all sizes.
Chrome steel 52100 is a versatile material in many applications. The chromium steel ball contains high chromium and has excellent surface quality and high load-bearing capacity due to quenching.
