50.72mm(1.99685") Diameter Grade 40 Hardened 52100 Chrome Steel Ball
Introduction
50.72mm to 50.92mm group Chrome steel balls are widely used in precision ball bearings and many other industrial applications. Chrome steel balls have exceptional surface quality, high hardness, and high load bearing capacity, as a result of through hardening. Chrome steel balls also offer long life and and deformation resistance.
High quality graded hardened chromium steel ball bearings are made of chromium AISI 52100 steel. Hardening to 60-67 Rockwell scale is equivalent to 700-900 HV (Vickers scale), and hardening to the entire ball. These are the same hardened steel balls used to manufacture bearing components and have high responsibility and life cycles. The chromium steel ball contains high chromium, and has excellent surface quality and high bearing capacity due to being quenched.
Manufactured in compliance to the following international standards: AISI52100 / EN31 / BS534A99 / W1.3505 / BS535A99 / UNI100C6 / AFN100C6 / DIN100C6 / JIS G4805 SUJ2.
Oil hardened steel balls typically used for bearing manufacture. Has high hardness capability and excellent deformation and wear resistance. Vacuum degassed and uniformly through hardened in electric furnaces.
Our chrome Steel Balls extremely precise and smooth surface guarantees you won't find any defects, such as flats, pits, soft spots, and cuts.
We mainly produce chromium steel with a size of 7.9375mm to 82.55mm. The main material is high chromium GCR15 or GCR15SiMn.Our balls are mainly for wind energy industry.
Influencing Factor
①The influence of material density: steel balls, cast iron balls, alloy steel balls, etc. Different materials have different densities. The density of steel is higher than that of cast iron. The density of alloy steel is based on the density and content of the main alloying elements.
②The influence of steel ball manufacturing method: Rolled and forged steel balls have a dense structure, so the density is very high. The structure of cast steel balls, cast iron balls or cast alloy balls is not very dense, and even has pores, so the density is lower.
③The influence of the metallographic structure of the steel ball: the density under different crystal structures such as martensite, austenite, bainite, and ferrite is also different, which also affects the fineness of the crystal.
④The influence of chemical composition elements: the different chemical compositions contained in the finished steel ball, such as iron, carbon, chromium, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus, etc., will affect the hardness and impact wear of the steel ball to different degrees. Generally speaking, if the chromium content is large, the steel ball has higher wear resistance.
Typical Uses
Our steel balls can be used in many industrial fields, such as wind power bearing, rolling media, ball bearings, vibration polishing, linear motion components.
