Introduction

Chrome steel is one of a class of non-stainless steels, such as AISI 52100, En31, SUJ2, 100Cr6, 100C6, DIN 5401, and can be used for bearings, tools, drill bits and utensils.

ASIA 52100 chrome steel balls are used in the ball and roller bearing industry and various automotive applications. These chrome steel balls have excellent surface quality. Through quenching, they have excellent wear resistance, high hardness and high load carrying capacity.

Bearing balls are special highly spherical and smooth balls that are most commonly used in ball bearings, but are also used as components such as flywheel mechanisms. There are many different levels of the ball.

Ball bearing is a type of rolling bearing that uses balls to maintain the spacing between bearing races.

The purpose of ball bearings is to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. It accomplishes this by using at least three seats to accommodate the ball and transfer the load through the ball. In most applications, one seat ring is fixed, while the other seat ring is fixed to the rotating component (such as a hub or shaft). When one of the bearing races rotates, it also causes the balls to rotate. Because the balls roll, their friction coefficient is much lower than when two flat surfaces slide against each other.

Production Process

The appearance inspection of steel balls mainly includes the inspection of surface scratches, rust, and surface spots. Steel ball production process: stamping - smooth grinding- quenching - hard grinding - appearance inspection - fine grinding - cleaning - rust prevention - finished product packaging.
