Introduction
High carbon chromium bearing steel refers to the high carbon alloy steel with 1.40-1.65% of chromium.It is characterized by uniform and stable microstructure after heat treatment, good wear resistance, high stress fatigue strength, good dimensional stability and good wear resistance.
The chrome steel ball demonstrates high hardness, resistance to deformation, and excellent wear characteristics. Chrome balls from us are manufactured from the highest quality chrome alloy electric furnace steel, and through-hardened for maximum strength and service life. Our strict production process assures highest dimensional accuracy and surface finish.Chrome steel balls are uniformly hardened and tempered throughout their entire diameter to achieve maximum strength and quality. Ball hardness is controlled within the 60-66 HRC range as measured on parallel flat surfaces. Custom heat treating is available for special hardness and dimensional stability requirements.
For example, Austenitic varieties have greater corrosion resistance and can be more easily formed thanks to the presence of concentrations of chromium and nickel. Ferritic steel balls are resistant to cracking and are extremely ductile, making them especially suitable for use in automotive settings.
Nitronic precision steel balls are often favored in the aerospace industry due to their resistance to galling, and Martensitic balls are heat treated to give them exceptional strength.
We also offer a range of grades of steel, such as AISI 52100 or 100Cr6. So pick the material and grade that meets your needs precisely.

We mainly produce chrome steel, the size is 7.9375mm ~ 150.mm. The main material is high chromium GCR15 or GCR15SiMn. Our balls are mainly used in the wind energy industry.
